SMARTSORB
Bilge Sock Unique, engineered mineral alternative to
today’s spill response technologies. Unlike Clay, cellulose, polypropylene, and
other agricultural based solutions, SMARTSORB is designed to bring virtually any
liquid into its structure. The liquid is then “captured” leaving behind a
residue free surface. SMARTSORB is non toxic and biodegradable. It has the same
biological impact on the environment as clean dirt.
Of particular interest are the extreme lightweight and ultra
absorbency characteristics of SMARTSORB. Able to absorb 5 times its own weight.

Directions: Apply SMARTSORB Powder directly to spill, brush or
agitate into spill and let the absorbent do its work. Absorbed product must then
be disposed according to local, state, federal regulations.
Bilge Sock: Manufactured from a hydrophobic fabric and contains a
state of the art ceramic absorbent. The absorbent is light weight and
non-biodegradable. Oil in the bilge will be absorbed through the fabric and
wicked into the ceramic absorbent. The BILGE SOCK will float on top of the bilge
water where the oil is floating and will not sink after it has been absorbed.

Note about combustible & flammable liquids: When absorbing
any flammable or combustible liquid, absorbent will greatly reduce
the vapor trail associated with that liquid. May reduce the ability
of the absorbed liquid to ignite or explode but will not prevent it
completely. Use plenty of absorbent on such spills. Add plenty of
water to reduce the risk of fire or explosion.
SMARTSORB has “fire resistant” properties and is much safer to use
on combustible and flammable liquid spills.
